Prognosis Phase Track

'Prognosis Phase Track' is applicable to DP and Venturi Meters in phase track service. It uses Prognosis ValSys to specifically identify a phase track flow. phase track flow is an adverse operating condition for DP transmitter systems, and so the Prognosis ValSys method offers DP reading assurance, i.e., DP signal redundancy. Once 'Prognosis Phase Track' identifies phase track flow, it then uses ISO TR 11583 and ISO TR 12748 DP or Venturi Meter PLR ratio-based algorithms to meter the gas flow and predict liquid loading. Furthermore, the user has the option to switch to DP Diagnostics enhanced phase track algorithms that have wider ranges of applicability and redundant backup methods. Prognosis Phase Track can operate on un-calibrated DP or Venturi Meters. Prognosis Phase Track can operate on saturated steam flow applications.
